The government has issued these guidelines for the employees in terms of security. Because the servers of these apps are being handled by private corporations around the world. In such a situation, anti-India forces can play with the data. This order is also related to the use of Amazon Alexa, Apple HomePod, Google Meet, Zoom and many other apps.
Precautions to be taken in work from home
It has been clearly stated in the new guidelines that while working from home, avoid sharing sensitive information or paperwork. Not only this, officials of Central Ministries and Departments have also been asked not to use smart-watches or smart phones during meetings or conferences on confidential or nationwide security related issues.
