Jio relaunched Rs 499 plan, know what changed

The Rs 499 plan has been relaunched by Reliance Jio. The company discontinued this plan on 1 December 2021 after the tariff hike. This plan used to come with daily 2GB data. Which was quite popular among Jio users. In such a situation, the company has re-introduced this plan.

Rs 499 plan

In the plan of Rs 499 from Jio, daily 2 GB data will be offered as before. The validity of this plan will be 28 days. After the daily data limit is over, the data speed will be reduced to 64kbps. In Jio’s Rs 499 plan, unlimited free calling will be available on any network. This plan comes with 100 free SMS daily. In this plan, Jio users will get Jio Prime membership plan. Also, Disney Plus Hotstar will get free subscription in this plan. For this, customers will not have to pay any extra charge. Apart from this, free subscription of Jio apps like Jio Cinema, Jio TV is available.

Jio entry level plan

Jio is giving 2 GB extra data in its entry level plan of Rs 249 and Rs 299 plan. Jio’s Rs 249 plan comes with a validity of 23 days. Whereas the Rs 299 plan comes with a validity of 28 days.

Jio has recently introduced the New Year offer plan. In which an extra validity of 29 days is being offered in the pre-paid plan of Rs 2,545. This plan comes with a validity of 336 days. However, with an additional validity of 29 days, 365 ie full one year validity is available in this plan. This offer is valid till 7th January.
